How To Apply:
MINI Financial Services provides an easy way for you to begin your on-line credit application process.
There is no cost or obligation when you submit an application, and your personal information is protected and shared only with your selected MINI Dealer. Please read our "Privacy Statement" for more privacy and security information.
In order to complete the application you will need the following information for yourself and your co-applicant, if applicable:
- Personal Information.
- Address Information.
- Financial Information.
- Dealer and Vehicle Information.
- If you do not have a preferred MINI Center , you may use our center locator to find one nearest to you.
Your application will be encrypted for security, transmitted to MINI Financial Services for processing.
If you submit your application during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm ET), you will receive an e-mail decision from MINI Financial Services within 24 hours of your submission.
On the same business day after submitting your application your MINI Dealer will automatically receive the credit decision.
If approved, your approval will remain valid so long as you complete the financing transaction and take delivery of your vehicle within 60 days from date of application.
IMPORTANT:
Please be sure to contact your selected MINI Center after you have received your credit decision. Your MINI Center is the final and most important step in ensuring you become a proud MINI customer.
What Happens Next?
The Approval Process
After you have submitted your credit application to MINI Financial Services, we will review your information from one of the major credit bureaus, and arrive at a decision. This decision will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours if you have submitted your application during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, ET).
Credit bureaus routinely collect and maintain information from credit card companies, banks, and department stores about your payment history and use it to compile your credit report.
Once you have received your credit decision, the most important step is to visit your selected MINI Dealer. If you were declined for credit with MINI Financial Services, you may still visit your MINI Dealer to discuss other vehicle and financing options that may be available to you.
What to Expect at your MINI Dealer
Your MINI Dealer will have your credit application on file. The MINI Dealer will work with you on securing the right vehicle and financing options available for you.
To complete the sales transaction, you will need to present the following to your MINI Dealer
- Two forms of identification, including one picture ID which can be a valid driver's license or International Drivers License.
- A copy of your auto insurance including your agent's name, address, and phone number.
- The title and/or lien information on the vehicle you are trading in, if applicable.
- The vehicle you are trading in, if applicable.
- A check for your down payment, taxes, title and license fees. Please note that tax, title, and license fees vary by state, and are not included in our on-line estimators and vehicle MSRP's.

- Q: Is my personal information secure in an on-line application?
- A: MINI Financial Services wants to ensure that your Internet transactions are protected. All credit communications with BMW Financial Services are over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with 128 bit encryption, which is supported by every modern web browser. Please see our privacy statement for more details about your privacy and security.
- Q: How does MINI Financial Services make a credit decision?
- A: Our credit experts will review your credit history with one of the major credit bureaus, such as Equifax. The information you have provided on your application will be considered in light of your outstanding loans and your payment history. After careful review, our credit expert will make an informed decision. As soon as a decision is reached-typically within 24 hours-you will be notified via e-mail.
- Q: How does the MINI Dealer learn about my credit decision?
- A: Your selected MINI Dealer will be notified via their internal MINI Financial Services computer system. The MINI Dealer typically receives your application and approval notification within 24 hours of submission.
- Q: Do I need to fill out another application once I visit the BMW Center?
- A: No. Your MINI Dealer will have on file your credit application via their internal MINI Financial Services computer system.
- Q: Is my application good at any MINI Dealer?
- A: No. Your MINI Financial Services credit application is only good at the MINI Dealer you selected.
- Q: How long is my credit approval valid for purchasing a MINI ?
- A: Your credit approval is valid for 60 days from the date of submission. Please see your MINI Dealer right away to expedite the vehicle ordering process.
- Q: Is the payment I estimated with the on-line payment estimator guaranteed?
- A: No. This is only an estimate, and is subject to change based on variables such as credit approval, down payment and actual trade-in value as determined by your MINI Dealer. The on-line estimator also does not include taxes, title and license fees. Your final selling price is determined by your MINI Dealer.
Estimated Payments
Estimated payments exclude applicable taxes, title, registration, license, and documentary fees, and will vary depending upon the final price and terms agreed upon between you and your MINI Dealer. Calculation of this estimated payment may include a credit or rebate. The availability and amount of credits and rebates are subject to changes in law and subject to MINI Dealer participation, which could affect the estimated payment. Consult your selected MINI Dealer for more information regarding the availability of a credit or rebate on your chosen vehicle.
